When Liam joined Pisara Learning Centre in 2025 as a Grade 8 student, he attended Mathematics tutorials every Wednesday with one clear goal — to improve in a subject he found particularly challenging. At the time, Liam was a quiet and reserved student who often struggled to understand mathematical concepts and the step-by-step processes needed to solve problems. Like many learners, he lacked confidence in his abilities and preferred to keep to himself.

Through the consistent guidance and encouragement of Pisara's resident Mathematics teacher, Ma'am Thalia, Liam gradually began to develop a stronger foundation in Math. Week after week, he built his understanding, strengthened his problem-solving skills, and gained confidence in tackling more complex topics. His efforts soon translated into better academic performance. What started as gradual improvements in quizzes and examinations eventually became outstanding results, with Liam earning excellent marks and even achieving perfect scores in several Math assessments. His report card reflected the remarkable progress he had worked so hard to achieve.

Liam's transformation extended far beyond academics. As his confidence in Mathematics grew, so did his confidence in himself. The once shy student became more comfortable interacting with his teachers and fellow tutorial students, developing meaningful friendships and becoming more engaged during lessons. He also became increasingly independent in his study habits, taking greater responsibility for his own learning and growth.

Today, Liam's journey is a wonderful example of what can be achieved through perseverance, expert guidance, and a nurturing learning environment. At Pisara Learning Centre, we believe that every student's potential can be unlocked with the right support.
